Trials of Mana will be leaving PlayStation Plus in August along with four other games, including NBA 2K24 and Need for Speed Unbound. This removal comes right before the launch of Visions of Mana, a new addition to the Mana series.

The ‘Last chance to play’ collection on PlayStation Plus now includes Trials of Mana, NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition, Need for Speed Unbound, SpellForce 3 Reforced, and Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed. These games will be available to play until August 20th.

Trials of Mana, a remake of the 1995 SNES game, was released in 2020 for PS4, PC, and Switch. Its departure from the subscription service is likely related to the upcoming release of Visions of Mana on August 29th for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Square Enix has confirmed that Visions of Mana will not be available on Game Pass. The new game promises a return to the series’ roots, focusing on characters resisting their fate and radiating kindness and warmth, according to series producer Masura Oyamada.

In the meantime, PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy the new games added for July, which include Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion, The Jackbox Party Pack 9, Remnant II – Standard Edition, and Jeanne d’Arc from Level-5, a cult-classic PSP tactics game.

Overall, fans of the Mana series can look forward to the release of Visions of Mana while enjoying the remaining time to play Trials of Mana on PlayStation Plus.
