Zenless Zone Zero’s Season 2, known as Where Clouds Embrace The Dawn, is set to drop on 6th June, which coincides with the arrival of the game on Xbox. The developers at HoYoverse have described this upcoming release as a “significant update and milestone moment” for fans of the gacha game.
In Version 2, players will be treated to a fresh and thrilling adventure to the Waifei Peninsula, where they will be accompanied by Yixuan from Yunkui Summit. This update promises to take Proxies into new territories, including the revitalization of the Suibian Temple in the bustling Failume Heights. Additionally, players can look forward to more intense Hollow combat in a larger and more open environment. To celebrate the game’s first anniversary, Version 2.0 will offer a range of rewards, such as a free S-Rank Agent, a free S-Rank W-Engine, 1,600 Polychromes, and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes.
Season 2 continues the storyline following the resolution of the Sacrifice crisis in previous chapters, allowing Proxies to delve deeper into the mysteries of Phaethon and engage in new Hollow exploration gameplay powered by Ether. Failume Heights, the main city in the region, is known for its proximity to the Lemnian Hollow and the rare resource Porcelume. The city boasts various establishments like tea houses, pawnshops, and dessert stalls, inviting players to immerse themselves in the local culture. Proxies will also have the opportunity to manage their own Suibian Temple, upgrade its facilities, and earn rewards by completing tasks and collecting resources from the Hollows. New allies, including Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Pan Yinhu, will join the roster to aid players in their adventures.
