Nintendo just opened Switch 2 pre-orders in the US, and it’s been a mess. Retailers sold out fast, orders got canceled, and it’s a whole chaotic situation. Not enough consoles to go around, apparently.
Now, on eBay, people are reselling Switch 2 pre-orders at almost double the price. Seems like a good deal, right? But wait, there’s more. Fans are posting fake listings for a picture of a Switch 2 on a piece of paper. Why? To mess with scalpers, of course.
One seller wrote, “You’re getting a picture, not a console. Don’t be fooled.” Another said, “Only bots would buy this, so don’t waste your money.” And a third warned, “No refunds. No refunds. No refunds. You’re getting a picture, no matter what.”
Seems like the Switch 2 launch is gonna be a big mess, especially in Japan. Way more people want it than can actually get it. It’s gonna be a wild ride, folks.
