Capcom is known for its wide range of popular game franchises, so when a new one is added to the lineup, it’s always exciting. This month, Capcom is set to release Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on various consoles and PC. But the good news is, you don’t have to wait to try it out, as the demo for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is already available for play. The demo has no time limit, so you can keep playing as much as you want to get a feel for the game.
In Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, players take on the role of Soh, a warrior dedicated to protecting a divine maiden named Yoshiro and her village from evil forces. The game combines action gameplay with real-time strategy and tower-defense elements. During the day, players must strategize and prepare the village’s defenses, while at night, they must defend against enemy attacks. Even when injured, Soh continues to lead the village’s defenses, making for an engaging and challenging gameplay experience.
In an exciting collaboration, Capcom has teamed up Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess with Okami, a beloved video game from 2006 that follows the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu. While Amaterasu herself does not appear in Path of the Goddess, players can see that Soh’s costume draws inspiration from her. The collaboration includes special outfits, music, and weapons from Okami, available for a limited time until July 17. If enough players complete the demo by the end of the collaboration, Capcom will release the Okami items as a free update for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
Fans can look forward to the official release of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on July 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. With its engaging gameplay and exciting collaboration with Okami, this new addition to Capcom’s lineup is sure to captivate gamers.
