Former Valorant streamer and online personality, Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr., has been challenged by Olympic medalist Ewa Swoboda to a race in Poland. Swoboda suggested that iShowSpeed should join an RMF FM radio contest in her home country to prove that he is unbeatable. A fan of Watkins Jr. mentioned Swoboda as one of the fastest women alive during a YouTube livestream and suggested that the content creator should compete against the 60-meter gold medal winner. In response, iShowSpeed claimed that he has never lost a race in his life and referred to himself as “Speed.”
Swoboda, in a separate video, mentioned that Watkins Jr. seemed dismissive when speaking to her parents about her recent performances. She challenged him to compete in the RMF FM radio contest in Poland, suggesting that she would race against him. However, she expressed doubts about whether he would actually accept the challenge. Despite being banned from Valorant in the past for toxic behavior, iShowSpeed has been busy with other activities such as interacting with Tiktok wizards during the 2024 Euros and performing stunts like jumping over speeding Lamborghinis, which led to a temporary ban from YouTube. He informed his fans on Twitter about the channel lockdown, indicating that the violation would last a couple of weeks.
If Watkins Jr. decides to race against Swoboda, some believe that he may not fare well. One commenter predicted that Swoboda would easily beat iShowSpeed, referencing her impressive time of 6.98 seconds in the 60-meter race, which is just slightly higher than Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s time at the Masters Indoor Championship last year. Despite the doubts and challenges, fans are eagerly waiting to see if iShowSpeed will accept Swoboda’s challenge and participate in the race in Poland.
