Today, during the Tennocon 2024 event, the development team behind Soulframe, a new multiplayer online game from Warframe developer Digital Extremes, hosted a livestream to showcase new gameplay and locations. The one-hour livestream gave viewers a glimpse of the opening moments of the game, starting with a small bird flying over a field that quickly turns into a war zone with an army attacking a castle. Inside the castle, a woman is seen holding a baby in her arms, and the player’s choices determine the woman’s appearance.
The livestream also featured key locations in the game, such as The Nightfold, a hub world where players can upgrade skills and weapons. The gameplay then transitions to the overworld map, showing the hero engaging in combat with knights while wielding a massive axe. After rescuing captive animals in a cave, the hero faces off against a formidable boss named the Nimrod. This boss character wields a powerful fork-like weapon and can summon lightning strikes to inflict heavy damage. The demo ended before the player could meet the Ancestor waiting in a cave.
Soulframe does not have a confirmed release date yet, but it is set to launch on PC when it is ready. The game promises an immersive multiplayer experience with exciting gameplay elements and visually stunning locations. Stay tuned for more updates on Soulframe as development progresses.
