Another potential skin that didn’t make it to the game was Wrecking Ball as Unicron, a planet-sized Transformer. This concept would have aligned well with Wrecking Ball’s character, a hamster piloting a ball-shaped mech. Despite the fans’ excitement for these potential skins, Blizzard had to prioritize their time and resources and decided to focus on the four skins that were eventually released.
While some fans may be disappointed that these additional skins were not included in the event, the current lineup of Transformers skins for Overwatch 2 is still well-received. However, amidst the positive reception of the Transformers crossover, some Overwatch 2 players are expressing concerns about the latest balance patch that they feel has made tanks too powerful.
