In less than a month, Planet Zoo will be celebrating its fifth anniversary with new downloadable content and a special offer for players. Developer Frontier has announced that the upcoming DLC, called the Zookeepers Animal Pack, will include seven new creatures for players to showcase in their zoos. These animals include the Pallas cat, Hamadryas baboon, Markhor, Spectacled bear, African spurred tortoise, Coquerel’s sifaka, and Kirk’s dik-dik. In addition to the new animals, players can also expect 95 new celebration-themed scenery pieces to decorate their zoos.
To add to the festivities, a new scenario will be introduced in the DLC, challenging players to organize a five-year birthday party for the Frontier Zoo. Along with the paid DLC, a free update will be released on October 15th, offering players a free African Leopard, new hats, and a jelly cake enrichment tool.
While Frontier has not revealed any plans beyond the fifth-anniversary celebrations, fans can look forward to the upcoming release of Planet Coaster 2.
