It seems like a week passes without a retro-styled FPS. Into the Pit is not the first one (hello Forgive me Father), but it is the most recent. Into the Pit, a spellcasting FPS roguelite that was revealed today at Xbox’s Gamescom presentation, is located in a village harried and controlled by a “demonic Pit”.
If a village is suddenly made a demonic pit, you know that demons will soon emerge from it and that they will need to be killed. You will be acting as a “lore-hunting mestic” in Into the Pit to find your cousin Luridia, who appears to have fallen prey to the pit.
