Monster Hunter Rise! Inscryption! More!
Sony just dropped the bombshell that Monster Hunter Rise and more are set to leave the PlayStation Plus service in June. If you were planning on diving into any of these games, you better hurry up because time is running out!
The Departures
In total, six games are on the chopping block for next month. Monster Hunter Rise, Rogue Legacy 2, Inscryption, After Us, Kayak VR: Mirage, and Avicii Invector will all bid farewell to PlayStation Plus subscribers. It’s a bummer to see them go, but hey, that’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
The Losses
Sure, it’s not as brutal as last month’s mass exodus of over 22 titles, but still, some gems are being taken away. Monster Hunter Rise is a standout title from Capcom’s beloved series, while Rogue Legacy 2 offers a fun mix of permadeath platforming. And let’s not forget about the delightfully creepy Inscryption, which has been winning hearts left and right.
What’s Next
If you’re feeling a bit down about these departures, don’t fret! PlayStation Plus has some new additions to soften the blow. Battlefield 5, Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, Humankind, and Sandland are up for grabs for Premium and Extra subscribers. And for all tiers, there’s Ark: Survival Ascended, Balatro, and Warhammer 40K: Boltgun waiting to be played. So, while we say goodbye to some favorites, there’s always something new on the horizon in the world of PlayStation Plus.
So, if you’ve been putting off playing Monster Hunter Rise or diving into the mysterious world of Inscryption, now’s the time to get on it before they disappear from PlayStation Plus for good. And who knows, maybe you’ll discover a new favorite among the latest additions to the service. Happy gaming!
