The basketball world Cup 2019 will be played at six locations. Four in Germany (Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Hamburg) and two in Denmark (Copenhagen and Herning). The opening game between Germany and Korea, will be held in Berlin, the final will be played in Herning. It is a large part of the Tickets for the venues in Germany being sold.

The preliminary point of games are to play. The teams get for a win two points and a draw one point. No points for a defeat. The best three Teams of a group will qualify for the main round. The teams have not reached the main round, to play at 19. and 20. January in Cologne and Copenhagen in the President’s Cup to the rear of the rankings.

In the last tournaments, there was still an eighth – and quarter-finals. These are now replaced by the main round. There are two groups with six Teams each. The games in group I are held in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, the games of group II in the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. The first two of the groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The group’s third play. The rankings of Germany and Denmark are of great importance for the scheduling of the games. Depending on which space they reach, will be recognized at the games differently.
