Destiny 2 has always been a game with complex systems and hidden features that can be hard to navigate, whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer. One beloved feature that has made a return to the game is attunement, which had been absent for a while. This feature allows players to grind for the best weapons and perks, known as a god roll.

Before the release of the climactic expansion, The Final Shape, Bungie introduced Into The Light, a smaller content pack that included a new cooperative horde mode called Onslaught and a set of weapons known as the BRAVE arsenal. Players were able to attune to these weapons to improve their drop rates and increase the chances of getting their ideal weapon perks.

Unfortunately, some features introduced in Into the Light, including attunement to BRAVE weapons, were removed with The Final Shape. However, Bungie has listened to the feedback from players and brought back attunement in patch 8.0.5. Players can now talk to Zavala in the Tower to access the attunement feature for the BRAVE arsenal.

By attuning to a weapon, players will notice a significant increase in the weapon’s drop rate, making it easier to acquire the desired weapons. The drop rate for attuned weapons has been increased to 60 percent, up from 50 percent in the previous iteration of attunement. This improvement makes it even easier for players to collect the weapons they may be missing.

The attunement system works by allowing players to focus on one weapon at a time, improving their chances of obtaining it. While the BRAVE weapon attunement primarily affects drop rates within the Onslaught mode, there is potential for other ritual activities to be included in the future. This suggests that players may have more opportunities to attune to weapons from various in-game activities like Crucible, Gambit, Strikes, dungeons, and raids.

With the return of attunement, players now have a better chance of obtaining their favorite weapons and perks. The cooperative horde mode, Onslaught, provides a perfect opportunity to test out these attuned weapons and grind for better loot. Additionally, the Solstice seasonal event is back, offering fresh activities and rewards for players to enjoy.

As players dive into Destiny 2’s ongoing episode “Echoes,” there are plenty of challenges and rewards to look forward to. Despite the mysteries surrounding Saint-14, players can explore new battlegrounds and collect great gear along the way. So, gear up, attune to your favorite weapons, and get ready to conquer the challenges that await in Destiny 2.
