Activision Blizzard has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be hosting a multiplayer open beta this September, leading up to its October launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The open beta will run from 6th September to 9th September, allowing players to experience the game’s Omnimovement system, new maps, squad-enabled modes, weapons, equipment, Perks, and loadout building.

For those eligible for early access, which includes Game Pass subscribers, the beta will start on 30th August and conclude on 4th September. This early access session is open to players who have pre-ordered the game and Game Pass subscribers. Players who have pre-ordered the Vault Edition of Black Ops 6 will also have access to additional items during the beta, including four Operators and five Mastercraft weapons.

Activision has promised to share more details on the campaign, multiplayer, and zombies content of Black Ops 6 in the coming days and weeks. The game is set to launch on 24th October for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be available on Game Pass, but new members may need to pay more to access it on launch day due to recent changes in the Game Pass service.
