WolfEye Studios, founded by former Arkane staff, has announced their next project: a first-person RPG that blends elements of Fallout and Dishonored in a unique alt-history, sci-fi Americana setting. The game is currently in production and is described as a First Person Action RPG that will appeal to fans of Dishonored and Prey, as well as RPG enthusiasts in general.

Although the game is still seeking a publisher, it has completed pre-production and is now accepting sign-ups for a “limited private Alpha” test scheduled for early 2025. Executive producer Julien Roby stated in an interview with Eurogamer that the goal is to create an experience that combines the best of Fallout and Dishonored, which is sure to excite fans of Arkane-style games.

While Arkane Lyon is busy working on Marvel’s Blade, WolfEye Studios is poised to fill the void left by the closure of Arkane Austin, known for the critically acclaimed Prey. Despite being a smaller studio of around 50 to 60 people, WolfEye is determined to continue the legacy of immersive sim games and push the genre forward with their upcoming project.

The concept art shared by WolfEye Studios hints at a world that mixes steam punk aesthetics with atomic age technology, promising a visually stunning and unique gaming experience. Although the studio is not aiming to create a massive open-world game, they are focused on delivering a game that is expressive and memorable.

With the promise of a game that combines the best elements of Fallout and Dishonored, fans of immersive sim games have reason to be excited for WolfEye Studios’ upcoming RPG. Stay tuned for more updates on this ambitious new project as it continues to take shape in the coming months.
