Alright, so it looks like the early access launch for Fantasy Life i on Xbox Series X/S has hit a little snag. The folks over at Level-5 dropped the bombshell earlier today that the much-anticipated early release won’t be happening as planned. Apparently, there’s some kind of technical issue on Xbox’s end causing all the trouble.

The original schedule had the early access starting at 3:00 PM GMT on May 18, but now that’s all up in the air. The Level-5 team is working hard to fix the problem, but they can’t give a solid time frame for when the early access will kick off. It’s a bummer for everyone involved, but hey, these things happen, right? They’re promising to keep us updated on the situation, so fingers crossed that we’ll be diving into the game soon.

In the meantime, if you’re not an Xbox player, don’t worry – the delay only affects the Xbox Series X/S version. Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is still set to launch for PlayStation 5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 21. It’s been a long wait for fans since the game was first announced during a Nintendo Direct back in February 2023. And let’s not forget about the new Professor Layton game, New World of Steam, coming our way. Looks like Level-5 has a lot of exciting stuff in the works, so stay tuned for more updates!
