A new Star Wars game is on the way, and it’s not Eclipse or the Knights of the Old Republic remake. It’s actually Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, a revamped version of the original game from 2000. Developed by Aspyr, this game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will feature improved gameplay, enhanced models, and the option to play with modern or classic controls. All secret characters and levels will be unlocked from the start, including an additional 13 playable characters like a Rifle Droid and a Tusken Raider.

One of the exciting features of the game is the inclusion of cheats like Big Head Mode. The game will allow players to use the power of the Force and lightsabers to battle droids, assassins, and other foes in iconic locations from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is set to be released on 23rd January, and pre-orders are available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam for £16.74 on Xbox and £15.99 on PlayStation.

While the announcement of the game is generating excitement among fans, there is also a hope for a more polished release from Aspyr. The developer’s previous release, Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, faced criticism for bugs and lack of preparation for online multiplayer. Additionally, Aspyr was initially working on the KOTOR remake before development was transferred to Saber Interactive. Fans are eager to see how Aspyr has addressed these issues in Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles and are looking forward to immersing themselves in the Star Wars universe once again.
